ReconCraft is seeking a Jr. Naval Architect to join our team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for a recent college graduate or an early-career professional with up to two years of industry experience who is interested in developing their career in naval architecture and marine engineering.

The candidate will join an existing in-house engineering team under supervision of more experienced staff. Responsibilities include weight estimates, hydrostatics, stability analysis, hull form

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering is required.
• Entry-level role suitable for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience.
• Ability to apply ABYC, ABS, NAVSEA guidelines and CE requirements.

Responsabilités

• Support engineering team with structural design, systems design, materials selection and fabrication approaches.
• Create and develop designs, drawings, and documentation for client submittals.
• Produce shop fabrication drawings and BOMs for prototype and production builds; 3-D modeling preferred.
• Refine designs through red line process and coordinate with project management and manufacturing.
