Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a junior software engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation team in support of an AFRL mission at Eglin AFB. You will closely work with customers and a diverse team to develop AFSIM models, scenarios and capabilities while providing onsite support as needed. Agile practices are used throughout the development cycle.

The role emphasizes self-starters, adaptability, and strong communication in a fast-paced, high-profile project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop AFSIM models, scenarios and capabilities
• Collaborate with customers and a diverse team of software engineers and analysts
• Provide onsite support as needed and perform testing/verification
• Apply modern Agile practices in a fast-paced development effort
