Job summary

My Funded Futures in Plano is seeking a Junior ML Engineer to join our data science function. You will develop, validate, and maintain ML models and the data pipelines that power them, working with real trading data to shape product decisions.

You’ll partner with Data Science and Analytics, translate business questions into analytical problems, and communicate results to decision-makers. This is ideal for early-career professionals eager to broaden modeling, analytics, and data engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, math, engineering, or related field; grad degree a plus.
• Strong Python and PySpark coding; write clean, tested code.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric).
• Strong SQL with window functions and multi-table joins.
• Solid ML concepts: cross-validation, overfitting, data leakage, evaluation metrics.
• Experience with ML methods: XGBoost/LightGBM, logistic regression, SVM, kNN.
• Experience deploying models to production; Docker/CI/CD.
• Able to explain model behavior to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, validate, and maintain ML models.
• Build data pipelines and datasets on cloud platform.
• Evaluate model performance and document methods.
• Support analytics, forecasting, experiments for business decisions.
• Present findings to non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to model documentation and monitoring standards.
