Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a TOC Junior Missile Defense Systems Engineer/Analyst to support MDS assessments in a collaborative, team-based environment. Onsite at Redstone Arsenal, you will contribute to testing, analysis, and evaluations of sensor fusion and C2BMC techniques.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 0–5 years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD clearance.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform algorithm testing, data generation, modeling, simulation, and analysis in support of MDS assessments.
• Evaluate radar and electro-optical sensor data fusion methodologies.
• Support multi-sensor tracking and target discrimination algorithm assessment.
• Analyze system-level command and control algorithms and missile defense battle management techniques.
• Provide technical support for independent assessments of future C2BMC software builds.
• Present technical findings and analysis to diverse stakeholders.
