PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Junior Missile Defense Systems Analyst – Architecture and Assessment to support our Fort Belvoir, VA on-site location. You will contribute to next-generation architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments using MATLAB and modeling tools.

The role requires 5–8+ years in systems engineering for missile defense, deep understanding of MDA architectures, and security clearances (Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI). Bachelor's degree; Master’s preferred.

• Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and analysis experience.

PeopleTec is seeking highly skilled Systems Analyst to support next-generation missile defense architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments. The successful candidates will contribute to the evaluation of architecture concepts, sensor and interceptor performance and command-and-control (C2) options using advanced modeling and simulation tools, including GTRI Benchmark model and/or AFSIM.

Duties:

• Perform architecture trade studies, system performance assessments and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures.
• Utilize Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads.
• Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools.
• Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM, Benchmark or other environments to inform architecture design decisions.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 5-8+years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in systems/software engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.
• Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have a Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Preferred expertise with MATLAB.
• Highly desired experience with GTRI Benchmark OR AFSIM modeling environments.
