Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Junior Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to support the MDA Architecture Validation team, focusing on developing and enhancing the CGT tool and dashboards for capability gaps.

You will collaborate with cross-functional groups, handle large data sets, and contribute to aerospace defense architecture decisions while maintaining security clearances and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects.
• Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Experience working with and analyzing large data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the Architecture Validation Team within MDA's Chief Architect's Office.
• Assist in the development and management of the QlikSense-based CGT tool, including reviewing, updating, and organizing gaps and threats.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations within the CGT to support reporting, analysis, and architecture decision-making.
• Work closely with other MDA organizations to help them understand and leverage the CGT while gaining insight into missile defense system elements.
• Engage with cross-functional teams and CGT users to identify reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
