Job summary

Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian LLP is seeking a debt-finance attorney to structure and negotiate loan facilities for venture-backed and public companies.

You will represent lenders or borrowers in venture debt, asset-based lending, and fund finance, with both bilateral and syndicated structures. The role involves significant client contact with CEOs, Boards, and venture funds, and requires prior BigLaw or boutique experience in debt finance.

• Expect significant client contact, including interactions with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.
• Previous experience at a BigLaw firm or recognized debt finance boutique is required.
• A strong interest in working with tech and life sciences companies and venture funds is valued.
• Requires demonstrated experience representing either lenders or borrowers in diverse debt finance transactions, specifically including venture debt, recurring revenue loans, asset-based lending, and fund finance, for both private and public companies.
• Experience with both bilateral and syndicated loan structures is a plus.
