Job description

Job Title: Junior Merchandise Processor

Contract Duration: 4+ Months

Pay Rate: Up to $19/hr

Work Type: Onsite

Location: Framingham, MA

Job Description

The Merchandise Processor organizes, maintains, and executes the flow of merchandise samples across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with processing merchandise samples, including opening packages for buyers, packaging and shipping samples back to vendors, and maintaining sample areas.
  2. Help in the setup and removal of sample fixtures in department sections and conference rooms.
  3. Manage the flow of shipments via FedEx, UPS, vendors, and the home office.
  4. Maintain buyer sample closets and organize samples for special projects and meetings.
  5. Ensure proper handling of merchandise samples and communicate with charity organizations for pickups.
  6. Coordinate with various departments and divisions as needed.
Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  3. Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.
  4. Strong verbal communication skills tailored to different audiences.
  5. Attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
  6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  7. Experience in shipping, stockroom, or warehouse stocking is a plus.
  8. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs if required.
