Job summary

AECOM Tishman is seeking an entry level MEP/Purchasing Agent based in New York, NY. This role supports the Purchasing Department in subcontractor trade package procurement across construction disciplines, under supervision of the Procurement Manager on large-scale projects.

Core responsibilities include bid management, scope writing, and contract administration, with a focus on cost-effective sourcing and timely procurement alignment with project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or similar technical field.
• Preferred experience in Construction, Engineering or Design.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and exposure to construction-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Invitations to Bid (ITBs) across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and related trades.
• Draft scopes of work for trade packages and review drawings for inclusions/exclusions.
• Assist in subcontract and purchase order processing and maintain contract files.
• Coordinate procurement planning meetings and track procurement milestones.
