Job summary

ALTEN Mexico is seeking a Mechatronics Design & Release Engineer to own end-to-end design, development, timing and production release of interior cockpit components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and development of interior systems in the Cockpit - Control and Sensors area.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or MBA), 1–3 years in automotive design release, and hands-on experience with NX, Catia V5 and

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering, or MBA.
• 1–3 years reviewing, validating and releasing automotive cockpit designs.
• Experience with NX, Catia V5 and Teamcenter for design & release.
• Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP&R and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Component design, development and packaging for cockpit systems.
• Collaborate with PDO, DVPR testing and change management.
• Maintain BOMs and support prototype and production builds.
• Manage CAD models in Teamcenter and communicate status to management.
• Assist supplier and assembly plants with technical issues and root cause analysis.
• Support weight and cost reduction initiatives and timing deliverables.
