Job summary

The ROSEN Group is seeking a Junior Mechanics Technician based in Houston, TX. The role involves assembling mechanical tool components, mounting sensors, and performing final assembly and testing of ROSEN USA’s inline inspection tools.

You will repair and test mechanical components, read schematics, and collaborate with Field Service and Electronics Technicians to ensure tool readiness. A two-year experience minimum is expected, with health and safety compliance and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Associate degree with emphasis in mechanics.
• Experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Must be able to read schematic diagrams, specification sheets and manuals.
• Must comply with established health and safety regulations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and capability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Good time management and organization skills.
• A self-motivated, pro-active individual who can work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical tool components and plastics, mount sensors, and perform final assembly and test of ROSEN USA’s in-line inspection tools.
• Repair and test mechanical components of in-line inspection tools per procedures, drawings and parts lists.
• Repair and mount external sensors to in-line inspection tools per procedures, drawings and parts lists.
• Identify mechanical and plastic parts and other elements that may need to be purchased or manufactured for the tool.
• Collaborate with Field Service Technicians and Electronics Technicians for testing and assembly.
