Saalex Solutions - A Saalex Company in Ridgecrest/China Lake, CA seeks a Junior Mechanical Engineer to assist in design, development, testing, and sustainment of mechanical systems. Onsite role requiring 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience and DoD program familiarity.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute technical programs, prepare engineering drawings, and verify system performance against requirements. Bachelor's in ME and active clearance preferred.

Formación

• 3-5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience supporting electrical design, testing, integration, or troubleshooting activities.
• Familiarity with engineering principles, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components.
• Support fabrication, installation, integration, and testing activities.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, models, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses related to structural, thermal, or mechanical system performance.
• Support troubleshooting and corrective action efforts for mechanical equipment and assemblies.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
• Assist with materials selection and evaluation activities.
• Support system verification, validation, and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, systems, and manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure engineering products comply with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
