Saalex is seeking a Jr. Systems Administrator for the China Lake, CA location. This entry-level role supports AEWTTR program cybersecurity, RMF activities, and DoD system accreditation, with a focus on producing professional documentation under guidance.

Onsite at China Lake, the role requires independent work alongside a collaborative team and government customers. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and is prepared to grow through company-supported cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Experience supporting secure IT environments, cybersecurity initiatives, or system accreditation efforts.
• Ability to work with DoD RMF processes and cybersecurity artifacts.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support secure and accredited information systems in collaboration with government and contractor personnel.
• Assist with cybersecurity, RMF activities, and system accreditation for DoD programs.
• Support vulnerability assessment and remediation, including STIG compliance and vulnerability management.
