We’re hiring a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of robotic platforms and manipulators. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn by doing. The ideal candidate is hungry to grow, motivated to solve problems, and eager to jump into real-world engineering challenges from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Support CAD modeling and design under the direction of senior engineers
• Modify AGV platforms or create new ones to meet specific technical needs
• Integrate components such as cameras, motors, sensors, actuators, radios, batteries, and manipulators
• Design structural elements, mounting systems, and access panels for both form and function
• Collaborate on wiring layout, enclosure fitting, and weatherproofing for complete robotic systems
• Participate in manipulator design, including servo selection and mechanical linkage design

What We’re Looking For

• CAD proficiency in tools like Fusion360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or PTC Creo
• Ability to discuss, iterate, and prototype 3D mechanical designs
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (3D printing, CNC, sheet metal, etc.)
• A self-starter with strong curiosity and a drive to keep learning
• Comfortable taking ownership of tasks with high-level guidance

What You’ll Learn

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Professional 3D modeling workflows and engineering drawing creation
• Rapid prototyping, component sourcing, and vendor management
• Material selection, tolerance analysis, and documentation best practices
• Workflow optimization to avoid rework and improve speed
