Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
• Zero to two years of relevant engineering experience; internships or co-ops preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and materials.
• Working knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical designs, calculations, specifications, datasheets, and technical deliverables under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Assist with equipment selection and evaluation of mechanical systems, including piping, pressure equipment, rotating equipment, and packaged systems.
• Review drawings, models, vendor documents, and engineering information for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with process, piping, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation and controls, procurement, fabrication, construction, and project teams.
• Prepare calculations, reports, material requisitions, technical documentation, and responses to engineering questions.
