This role emphasizes learning quickly, taking increasing responsibility, and contributing to high-tech solutions in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have SolidWorks experience and a mechanical engineering degree or near graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or graduating within the next few months).
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to ask questions and learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Experience with machining or fabrication.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• 3D printing or prototype experience.
• Internship or Formula SAE, Baja, robotics, or similar engineering project experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks
• Assist with product design and mechanical assemblies
• Prepare manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation
• Support prototype builds and testing
• Work with machine shops and manufacturing partners
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
• Help troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues
• Learn practical engineering methods used in real-world product development
