Job summary

ENTE K in Lebanon, Oregon is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and assemblies. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Project Management, Sales, Service, and customers to deliver reliable, cost-effective engineering solutions.

The role focuses on CAD-driven design, detailed drawings, and documentation, with emphasis on manufacturability, reliability, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD) and GD&T principles.
• Experience with engineering calculations, validation, and analyses.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and components using 3D CAD software.
• Create detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate designs.
• Conduct DFMEA, risk assessments, and safety evaluations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and customers.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
• Assist with ECRs/ECOs and supplier design reviews.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
