Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer in Augusta, GA to support the design of mechanical systems for commercial buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

You will work with senior engineers to develop designs, prepare and modify drawings, create 3D models, perform calculations, and prepare construction documents. Training will be provided on the company’s processes, standards, and project requirements. This is a Temp-to-Perm onsite role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• FE/EIT exam completed or willingness to take exam.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for commercial buildings including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Develop designs and prepare/modify drawings.
• Create 3D models and perform engineering calculations.
• Prepare construction documents.
