Job summary

KBR is seeking an MBSE Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to develop and maintain system architecture models using SysML/UML in Cameo environments. The role emphasizes requirements traceability, architecture analysis, and documentation across the lifecycle to support a Department of War program.

The position requires an active Secret clearance, a degree in engineering, and 1–5 years of MBSE experience, with tools like Cameo and MagicDraw.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 1–5 years of MBSE and lifecycle experience.
• Experience developing or maintaining SysML/UML models using Cameo/SysML tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update system architecture models using SysML/UML within Cameo Systems Modeler and related modeling environments.
• Support requirements engineering including capture, decomposition, allocation, validation, and end-to-end traceability.
• Develop and refine functional, logical, and physical architecture models for analysis, design, and integration.
• Generate model views, diagrams, reports, and technical artifacts for reviews and program deliverables.
• Support model configuration management and architecture repositories using TeamWork Cloud and governance processes.
• Assist with verification and validation by ensuring traceability between requirements, architecture, and test artifacts.
• Align system models and documentation with DoDAF and program processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical documentation and briefing materials.
• Contribute to digital engineering initiatives and model-based lifecycle execution.
• Other duties as assigned.
