NBC Mesh Tec seeks a motivated Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support daily production operations in our Illinois facility. You will gain hands-on experience in process improvements, quality initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include documenting processes, creating CAD drawings and layouts, and assisting with quotations and cost estimates. This entry-level position offers mentorship and growth into engineering or operations roles in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Business-level English communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and work in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and comfort working around machinery.

Responsibilities

• Support production teams with troubleshooting, workflow improvements, and basic technical tasks.
• Document processes, work instructions, and quality checks.
• Create and update CAD drawings, production layouts, and manufacturing documentation.
• Assist with preparing customer quotations, cost estimates, and manufacturing feasibility reviews.
• Help identify inefficiencies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Work with senior engineers on small projects, equipment updates, and layout changes.
• Perform basic data entry, reporting, and communication with cross‑functional teams.
