Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking early-career manufacturing engineers to join its Operations team, focusing on translating engineering intent into hardware, optimizing processes, and ensuring quality across facilities.

Responsibilities include development and implementation of manufacturing systems, collaboration with design and systems engineering, and driving cost reductions and process improvements to support safe human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/ manufacturing/ industrial or aerospace engineering or related field.
• Degree earned within the last year and able to start by Fall 2026.
• Experience in component fabrication, precision assembly, and testing with varied methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
• Collaborate with materials, production planning, quality, operations, and design teams.
• Translate engineering intent, drawings, and configurations into hardware for test, qualification, and flight.
• Improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequence.
• Create, interpret, and modify work instructions and routings for technicians and material planning.
