Job summary

Adient plc is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, contributing to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to 2 years of experience (internships/co-ops acceptable).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field as listed.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience or internship/co-op acceptable.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans and Process Flows.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Support labor utilization, equipment needs, workflow, and layouts to improve efficiency.
• Participate in prototype builds, production launches, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Learn and apply new manufacturing technologies for quality and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on tooling and equipment selection.
