Job summary

Precision Aerospace Products is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our on-site team in Westbrook, CT. The role focuses on mechanical engineering for precision manufacturing and assembly of aerospace components, with opportunities to lead process improvements and tooling development.

You’ll work closely with seasoned engineers on documentation, time studies, and process optimization while building hands-on expertise on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing.
• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Familiar with CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
• Proficient with calipers and micrometers.
• Strong written and verbal communication; self-motivated and ownership.
• Willingness to learn on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Support precise mechanical manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Contribute to process development, tooling, documentation, and production expansion.
• Conduct time studies and manufacturing analysis.
• Develop tooling and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Quality, Tooling and Automation.
