Job summary

TMG Property Management Services NW is seeking a dependable Junior Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our apartment community. Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, construction, handyman, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of general repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to follow directions and work with some supervision.
• Dependable and willing to learn new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with work orders, service requests, and emergency calls.
• Inspect apartment units and identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with apartment turnovers.
• Paint and complete minor interior repairs.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Assist with repairs to toilets, water heaters, hose bibs, doors, trim, molding, and similar items.
• Help with exterior maintenance including gutters, siding, paint touch-ups, and minor pavement repairs.
• Keep common areas clean and free of debris.
• Assist with maintenance inventory and parts as directed.
• Follow instructions from the Property Manager and maintenance team.
• Maintain professional and respectful interactions with residents and coworkers.
