Shapco is seeking a Machine Operator I in Riverside, CA. The role involves operating industrial machines, ensuring on-time quality parts, and following trained procedures to support production schedules.

You will learn machine operation, document outputs, and assist with maintenance. The position requires safety focus and ability to lift heavy parts, with potential shift work and overtime as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to follow written or oral instructions.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Start and stop the machine safely without supervision.
• Load unfinished parts and remove finished parts safely.
• Check part quality with designated measurement instruments.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of machinery.
• Operate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Oversee the machine while executing tasks and adjust to improve results.
• Record all machine actions and log completed parts for records.
• Ensure duties are performed safely and efficiently.
• Keep a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
