Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Junior Technician to grow in the low-voltage field, supporting installation, testing, and maintenance under supervision. This entry-level role provides hands-on training and a path to advanced service work within a federally aware environment.

The position emphasizes on-site customer service, safety compliance, and collaboration with experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Low-voltage training certificate.
• Basic electrical wiring experience.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good communication skills to interface with customers.
• Able to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions and code requirements.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and continued random background, drug, and MVR screenings.
• Ability to obtain a government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with installation, repair, and testing of various systems used by Evergreen.
• Serves as the face of EFS to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations.
• Handles service order and project administration.
