Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a Junior Loan Officer to provide administrative support to our Loan Officers and deliver high-quality service to customers by email and phone. You will share information about the loan process, answer basic questions, and gather required data from clients under guidance.

Marketing via social media and proactive outreach to past customers will be important, with growth potential into other roles over time for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience in any capacity.
• Mortgage experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Desire to succeed and be motivated.
• Competitive and driven with strong communication skills.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Loan Officers and assist customers via email and phone, guiding them through the loan process.
• Engage in marketing via social media and outreach to past customers to generate opportunities.
• Support the loan process with information gathering and basic inquiries as directed by Loan Officers.

Job Summary

The Junior Loan Officer provides administrative support to the Loan Officers and a high level of service to our customers via email and phone, providing information about the loan process, supporting basic questions, and gathering information from customers as directed by the Loan Officers. Marketing via social media and outreach via phone to past customers will be an important part of the role. This position would open the opportunity to grow into other roles over time if interested.

The Person:

• Previous Sales or Customer Service Experience (in any capacity whether full time or part time)
• Mortgage experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Desire to Succeed

• Microsoft Office Proficient required (utilization of Outlook a must)
