Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an entry-level Life Sciences - Lab System Support to provide on-site assistance to lab end-users (Tier 1-2) and to deepen understanding of laboratory processes within a GMP environment. The role involves configuring systems, collaborating with vendor teams, and contributing to SOPs.

The successful candidate will join a team that values cross-functional collaboration, regulatory knowledge (GxP, CFR 21 Part 11), and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in listed fields.
• Windows desktop OS support experience (Win 7–Win 11) and setting up brand new systems.
• Knowledge of GxP and CFR 21 Part 11 requirements.
• Experience installing and configuring Lab computer systems in GMP environments.
• Ability to contribute to knowledge articles and SOPs.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site lab end-user support (Tier 1-2).
• Develop understanding of business processes and procedures.
• Vendor support and account provisioning.
• Install and configure lab computer systems in GMP environments.
• Collaborate with vendor support to resolve lab system app errors.
• Perform admin tasks (users, updates).
• Engage in process re-engineering workshops with stakeholders.
• Respond to IT tickets to address lab app issues.
• Diagnose software and middleware with internal clients.
• Align with global IT for consistency.
• Review SOPs related to lab applications.
