We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial agreements and projects that support the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Work with the legal team to successfully implement and manage the Contract Life Cycle (CLM) tool
• The Junior Legal Counselwill work collaboratively with other members of the legal team to review and close NDA’s, vendor and commercial transactions
• The Junior Legal Counselwill perform analysis and provide guidance on company transactions as well as evaluate risk, update templates, help to create training materials, and manage projects as necessary
• Provide guidance on contracting documents and processes

Qualifications

• Advise and participate in contract negotiations, including risk management and assessment of commercial transactions
• Ability to interact effectively with all departments within the company including executive management as well as external customers and vendors
• 3+ years previous experience conducting commercial contract negotiations for services and software for US companies
• Proven drafting skills
• Privacy and security experience
• Independent contributor but also a team player
• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
• Fintech and experience with a CLM tool a plus, but not required
