Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support for existing business models (website and apps) as well as new ones.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, keeping up to date with relevant legal requirements.
  • Prepare and review NDAs, agreements, legal texts, and other documents to support business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws (GDPR, LSSI, LOPGDDD, RIA).
  • Support the definition of internal corporate policies and procedures.
  • Work with the team to ensure compliance with intellectual property laws and legal defense of the company's rights.
  • Respond appropriately to inquiries from regulatory authorities and third parties concerning the company’s operations in various markets.
Requirements

Your expertise in a nutshell:

  • Degree in Law and at least 2-3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Background in digital business, privacy, intellectual property, and software contracting.
  • Strategic thinking skills. Ability to analyze processes, identify issues, and propose or implement solutions to support business strategies.
  • Proactivity and ability to achieve business goals while mitigating risks.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
Valuable knowledge:
  • Knowledge of international laws and regulations related to corporate matters (e.g., US laws).
  • Familiarity with corporate procedures and affairs.
Desired skills:
  • Effective communication with non-legal stakeholders such as marketing, product, or IT teams.
  • Experience with document management in cloud environments (Google Drive).
  • Pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
  • Adaptability to planned or unplanned changes.
  • Team player, aligned with corporate and team guidelines.
