Job summary

Ace Precision Machining LLC is seeking a Laser Technician to set up and operate lasers for precision cutting, drilling, trimming, and marking aerospace components. Learn advanced laser processes under AS9100 quality standards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on manufacturing experience, preferably in lasers, CNC, robotics or similar.
• Ability to read basic sketches and follow work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laser machines used for cutting, drilling, marking, or trimming sheet metal components.
• Read and follow engineering sketches, job routers, and process control sheets to ensure accurate part processing.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and visual inspection.
• Monitor machine operation and escalate concerns to experienced technicians or supervision as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems and support continuous improvement.
