InSite Engineering is seeking a Junior Landscape Designer to join our Wall Township, NJ team. You will work with licensed Landscape Architects and engineers on land development projects, gaining hands-on experience and advancing toward licensure.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture and 0–2 years of related experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and familiarity with Land F/X, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• 0–2 years of landscape architecture experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D preferred.
• Experience with LandFX, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning and landscape design of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare landscape, planting, lighting plans, site amenities, and construction details under licensed Landscape Architect guidance.
• Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with plant materials, site furnishings, screening, buffers and other landscape elements.
• Research municipal ordinances, zoning regulations, and local design standards.
• Compile project data, mapping, photos, and site information for planning and design.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, client meetings, and project coordination meetings.
• Assist with landscape-related permit applications, reports, calculations, and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, planners and project team members.
• Assist with site plan subdivision and land development applications preparation and review.
• Support design revisions, agency review, and construction documentation.

As a Junior Landscape Designer, you'll work alongside licensed Landscape Architects, engineers, and project managers on a variety of land development projects. What You'll Do

• Assist with the planning and landscape design of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and mixed‑use land development projects.
• Prepare landscape plans, planting plans, lighting plans, site amenities, presentation graphics, and construction details under the guidance of a licensed Landscape Architect.
• Develop and modify design drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Assist with the selection and placement of plant materials, site furnishings, screening, buffers, and other landscape elements.
• Research municipal ordinances, zoning regulations, landscape requirements, and applicable local and state design standards.
• Compile project data, mapping, photographs, and site information to support project planning and design.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, client meetings, and project coordination meetings.
• Assist with landscape‑related permit applications, technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, planners, and other members of the multidisciplinary project team.
• Assist with the preparation and review of site plan, subdivision, and land development applications.
• Support project teams through design revisions, agency review, and construction documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 0–2 years of relevant landscape architecture experience; internships and co‑op experience are encouraged.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred.
• Experience with Land F/X, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software is a plus.
• Familiarity with plant materials, landscape design principles, and basic site design concepts.
• Interest in pursuing professional Landscape Architect licensure is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
• Self‑motivated with an eagerness to learn, collaborate, and develop professionally.
