Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a hands-on lab technician to support new product development under the direction of Principal Scientist/ Research Chemists in our Wilmington, DE R&D lab. This role involves executing procedures, preparing samples, and contributing to manufacturing troubleshooting.

You will perform QA/QC testing, assist with method development, maintain lab organization, and help move exciting products from development toward commercialization.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or closely related field.
• 1–2+ years of laboratory experience in an industrial chemical laboratory setting.
• Basic chemistry laboratory skills including accurate weighing, sample/solution preparation, titrations, pH adjustments, and keeping accurate lab notes.
• Experience with analytical equipment including FTIR, UV-Vis, HPLC, GC, XRD and SEM.
• Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory and field-testing procedures to evaluate new product innovations and their commercial viability.
• Support method development through sample preparation, test setup, data collection, and documentation.
• Execute established test methods to evaluate product stability and help guide manufacturing requirements.
• Perform routine QA/QC testing on products currently in production.
• Prepare samples for outsourced and regulatory testing according to established procedures.
• Maintain laboratory organization, samples, and supplies.
• Assist with routine laboratory equipment care and maintenance.
