Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a hands‑on lab technician to support new product development in a modern R&D lab in Wilmington, DE. You will work under chemists, performing test methods, data collection, and documentation while maintaining a well‑organized facility.

As part of a small R&D team, you’ll participate in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and ensure QA/QC standards are met. B.S. or A.S. in chemistry or related field preferred, with 1–2+ years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of laboratory experience in an industrial chemical lab.
• Basic chemistry lab skills: weighing, sample prep, titrations, accurate lab notes.
• Experience with analytical equipment (FTIR, UV‑Vis, HPLC, GC, XRD, SEM).
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship in the future.

Responsibilities

• Follow lab procedures to evaluate new product innovations and their viability.
• Support method development through sample prep, test setup, data collection, and documentation.
• Execute established tests to evaluate product stability and guide manufacturing requirements.
• Perform routine QA/QC testing on products in production.
• Prepare samples for outsourced and regulatory testing.
• Maintain lab organization, samples, and supplies.
• Assist with routine lab equipment care and maintenance.

Job description

As a hands‑on lab technician, working under the direction of the research chemists, you’ll support new product development and occasionally participate in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Follow laboratory and field-testing procedures to evaluate new product innovations and their commercial viability.
• Support method development through sample preparation, test setup, data collection, and documentation.
• Execute established test methods to evaluate product stability and help guide manufacturing requirements.
• Perform routine QA/QC testing on products currently in production.
• Prepare samples for outsourced and regulatory testing according to established procedures.
• Maintain laboratory organization, samples, and supplies.
• Assist with routine laboratory equipment care and maintenance.

Location:

Wilmington, DE — in person in the R&D lab five days per week.

What You’ll Bring to the Job:

• B.S. or Associate Degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field; B.S. preferred.
• 1- 2+ years of laboratory experience as a technician in an industrial chemical laboratory setting.
• Basic chemistry laboratory skills, including accurate weighing, sample/solution preparation, titrations, keeping accurate lab notes and etc.
• Experience with analytical equipment including FTIR, UV-Vis, HPLC, GC, XRD and SEM.
• Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
