Job summary

Allied Services is seeking an Assistant Janitorial Supervisor to oversee training of employees at assigned custodial contract sites. The role ensures training aligns with age-specific needs and contract specs.

Responsibilities include supervising client training, equipment upkeep, and safe transport to sites when required. Requires a high school diploma, 18+ age, and PA driver’s license with completion of the company driver program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid PA Driver’s License for travel to various employment sites.
• Successful completion of Allied Services Driver Training Program to operate Allied Services vehicles.
• May transport clients to employment sites as situation dictates.

Responsibilities

• Instructs assigned clients on proper work habits, methods, and safety procedures.
• Assists in maintaining contract specifications regarding scheduling of clients and quality control in custodial accounts.
• Reports daily to the Training Supervisor on client status and maintains records of their development.
• Performs custodian duties if a staff shortage occurs.
• Keeps all equipment clean and in proper working condition.
• Assists in maintaining accurate inventories of supplies.
• Provides crisis intervention when necessary and escorts or redirects clients as needed.
• Safely transports clients to and from the work-site when necessary.
