Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation in Commerce, CA is seeking a Junior IT Network Administrator to support and expand our network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches in a hybrid work environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT or related field and at least 1 year of hands-on experience; CCNA preferred.

You will assist with racking and cabling, partnering with Systems, Security, Clinical Applications, and Data Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of working knowledge deploying/maintaining IT environments.
• Cisco networking certifications (CCNA) are preferred.
• Knowledge of routing and switching (Cisco technologies preferred).
• Experience with Wireless technologies and network security architectures preferred.
• Experience in virtualization and cloud systems preferred.
• Experience supporting high availability and real-time monitoring is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and packet capture/troubleshooting tools.
