Job summary

Municipal Credit Union (MCU) is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge IT and business units, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and supporting project execution. You will ensure alignment with PMO standards, governance, and security while driving clarity across initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of BA experience, expertise with Symitar/Jack Henry, SQL, and Office 365, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and data analysis.
• Experience with Office 365, SQL, Symitar, and other financial system tools.
• Experience working with stakeholders and senior decision makers.
• Use Case and Wireframe Modeling.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Familiarity with IT/PMO methodologies and SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PMO and business units to analyze operational needs and opportunities.
• Document business requirements, functional specs, and user stories.
• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders and technical staff.
• Support feasibility reviews and solution assessments.
• Define project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables with project managers.
• Ensure adherence to IT standards and governance.
• Maintain IT documentation and process guides.
• Map current and future state processes across systems.
• Recommend technology-enabled improvements to enhance member experience and reduce risk.
• Assist with change readiness and end-user training materials.
• Support testing, validation, and quality assurance of IT solutions.
• Foster strong relationships across departments and vendors.
• Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
