Job summary

Cyber Defense Technologies is seeking a Junior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to advise on secure configurations for customer IT assets. This on-site role in Chantilly, VA requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.

The ISSO will support certification, accreditation, and government policy implementation while performing risk analyses and documentation tasks. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with work experience as specified.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required.
• Experience advising on secure configurations and operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments of systems and networks to verify configurations against policy and standards.
• Establishes program controls to support certification and accreditation activities.
• Assists in implementing government policy (e.g., NISPOM, DCID 6/3).
• Supports ST&E by preparing, participating in tests, and documenting results.
• Reviews audits and monitors corrective actions until closure.
