Job summary

WA River Protection Solutions seeks a fully qualified Ironworker/Rigger to perform complex rigging and ironwork, including lofting, splicing wire rope, erection and dismantling of scaffolding, and inspection of rigging gear.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 5 years journeyman experience, knowledge of mobile cranes, and compliance with radiological safety standards including respirators and Hazardous Worker training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years qualifying journeyman experience as an Ironworker/Rigger.
• Knowledge and experience in setup of mobile cranes and load charts.
• Must meet criteria for work in radiological areas, including respirators, Asbestos Awareness, Radiation II, and Hazardous Worker training.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex rigging and ironwork, including lofting, splicing wire rope, and erection/dismantling of scaffolding.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair rigging equipment and wire rope.
• Fabricate, erect, install, dismantle and inspect steel structures, ladders, platforms, and catwalks.
