Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field preferred; relevant investment experience valued.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in investment research or asset management.
• Analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with investment professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on external investment managers across private markets and hedge funds.
• Evaluate investment strategies, performance, risk, and portfolio construction to inform recommendations.
• Perform investment analysis including benchmarking, performance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Develop manager research, investment summaries, and recommendations to support manager selection and allocation decisions.
• Monitor approved managers and strategies and assess implications for investment thesis.
• Research asset classes, market trends, and macro developments relating to alternative investments.
• Prepare and present investment research and strategy materials to the Investment team.
• Enhance research processes via improved analytics and data management.
