Job summary

H Mart in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a talented Interior Designer to support design reviews, drafting, and FF&E coordination for commercial and retail projects.

You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and general contractors, maintain an up-to-date materials library, and assist with 3D renderings and presentations. The role requires 1–3 years of experience and a portfolio demonstrating retail design work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or related field.
• 1–3 years of interior design, architecture, retail design, or commercial design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D design software.
• Interior design or architectural portfolio required.

Responsibilities

• Support design reviews and proposal development for H Mart commercial and retail projects.
• Prepare and revise interior design packages, drawings, and detailing.
• Assist with material selection, furniture layouts, lighting, and FF&E documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and general contractors.
• Maintain and update the materials library and vendor catalogs.
• Create high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations for internal presentations.
• Track project progress, schedules, and FF&E budgets for on-time completion.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and design reviews.
