Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a junior interior designer to support project teams by performing basic design and technical tasks under supervision.

You will revise drawings, renderings and presentations and assist with interior plans, elevations and details in a collaborative environment in Dallas, TX. The role involves coordinating with vendors, participating in team meetings, and contributing to sustainable and integrated design concepts while learning from senior designers.

Qualifications

• Experience with interior design/architecture software and concepts.
• Ability to revise drawings and renderings under supervision.
• Familiarity with site surveys and coordinating with vendors.
• Strong interest in sustainable and integrated design.

Responsibilities

• Revise drawings, presentations and renderings under lead designer.
• Assist in preparing interior plans, elevations, details.
• Organize files, materials and displays.
• Assist in developing interiors concepts based on client vision and project scope.
• Coordinate with vendors and product manufacturers reps during finish sample procurement.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues and coordination.
• Assist with RFIs and submittals during Construction Administration.
• Conduct research for the project team.
