Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking an entry-level architectural professional to support project teams with basic design and technical tasks under supervision, and to learn and contribute creatively.

Responsibilities include creating implementation documents, collaborating with team members and other disciplines, attending site visits and meetings, and assisting in proposals and client communications.

Qualifications

• Accredited architecture degree or related field is required.
• Typically 0–3 years of experience.
• On the path to Architectural Registration; sustainable design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modifies or creates implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques and procedures under direction.
• Performs routine architectural assignments and may have design responsibility collaborating with team members.
• Assignments may include higher-level work for training/development purposes.
• May attend on-site visits, field reviews and client/project meetings as appropriate.
• May assist in preparing proposals, presentations, schedules and documentation.
• May participate in communication with other disciplines, vendors and contractors to incorporate information into project requirements.
• Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical coordination.
• Travel may be required.
