Job summary

The Bexar Company in San Francisco is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with 1-4 years of experience to contribute to commercial/corporate interior projects. You will join a collaborative studio and participate in design development, documentation, and client coordination across disciplines.

This role offers exposure to interior design, architecture, signage, and graphics, with opportunities to grow your technical and presentation skills through documentation, 3-D studies, and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in architectural or interior design, documentation, and/or contract administration.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong design and visual communication skills.
• Ability to create compelling 3-D presentations and renderings.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a project team member through concepting, design development, detailing, documentation, and construction.
• Assist with development of interior design concepts, presentations, materials, and 3-D studies.
• Support preparation of construction documents and project documentation.
• Engage and coordinate with engineers and other design consultants.
• Assist with tracking project schedules and design milestones.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams.
• Attend project site visits and client meetings as required.
• Collaborate across disciplines including Interior Design, Architecture, Signage/Graphics, and Landscape.
