Job summary

The Bexar Company in San Francisco seeks a Graphic Designer with 1–2 years of experience to contribute to branding, environmental graphics, signage, and visual communication. You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and work on projects spanning graphic design, branded environments, and wayfinding.

Ideal candidates have a strong eye for typography, color, and composition, plus the ability to communicate ideas clearly and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of professional graphic design experience; interior/branding/env graphics is a plus.
• Strong typography, composition, color, imagery, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to communicate ideas through strong visual and verbal communication.
• Strong 2-D design and conceptual development skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams through development and delivery of concepts, design development, and documentation.
• Develop graphic concepts, layouts, presentations, and visual assets under senior designers.
• Assist with branding, environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding, and other visual projects.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, interior designers, and consultants on projects.
• Prepare presentations, design studies, material palettes, and client-facing graphics.
• Assist with design documentation and production of deliverables.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to creative discussions and reviews.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Stay current with design trends, materials, technologies, and practices.
