Job summary

TrueChoice Solutions is seeking an Interactive Graphic Designer to join our frontend team in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment. You will craft graphically rich, data-driven web applications and lead projects to develop UI/UX concepts for multiple devices.

We expect a strong portfolio, a design degree in progress or completed, and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite. This entry-level role offers mentorship, training, and generous PTO in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• A strong portfolio of consumer-facing web projects demonstrating brand elevation through innovative design.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or in progress) in Graphic/Web Design or related field.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); XD and video editing a plus.
• Solid grasp of typography, color, imagery, and composition.
• Experience with responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Responsibilities

TrueChoice Solutions is a private, rapidly growing Software as a Service (SaaS) preference analytics marketing software company that develops and markets unique, sophisticated applications that give its Fortune 500 clients insights about “how” and “why” buyers make purchase decisions. The company’s clients use these insights to help increase sales, client retention, and profitability. TrueChoice has an impressive list of Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries with offices in UK, Continental Europe and New York City. Our client base is diverse and includes large automotive companies to consumer electronics manufacturers and health care services companies. Our applications typically appear on major, highly trafficked public websites.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Interactive Graphic Designer who is creative, motivated, detail oriented and eager to put their design skills to work at a lively, fast-paced software startup culture that embraces values like humility, inclusion, diligence, and excellence. You will support the in-house Frontend department on the creation and production of TrueChoice’s graphically rich, data driven web-based applications. You will assist the design team and eventually lead various projects to gain experience in the field of user interface and user experience design. The Interactive Graphic Designer will report to a senior designer. This is a full-time entry level graphic design position. We will only consider recent graduates with less than 3 years of experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and produce client-facing screenshot concepts for high profile, Fortune 500 clients.
• Collaborate with a team of other designers, developers, and project management to design and deploy graphical assets and interactive elements for TrueChoice’s web-based applications.
• Design hi-fidelity wire frames and engaging UI concepts for industry leading web-based applications deployed across multiple devices.
• Design creative approaches, graphics and layouts for web pages, HTML emails, sales and print collateral.
• Innovate new products, tools, and processes as well as building upon existing ones.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and tools.

Position Requirements

• An exceptional portfolio of consumer-facing desktop/mobile web projects that demonstrates your ability to elevate a brand through innovative and joyful web experiences.
• Bachelor’s Degree or working towards completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related major.
• Proficient with Adobe creative suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. XD and video editing a plus.
• Creative flair for design with a strong grasp of design principles: including typography, color, imagery, and composition.
• Experience with responsive design concepts for mobile, phone, and tablet interfaces.
• Experience demonstrating brand/visual elements across multiple mediums in web, print, interactive, and social media assets.
• Ownership over your own work, as well as your team's collective work, and a commitment to every part of a task, from big picture to small details.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and ability to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful.
• Ability to persuasively justify and explain rationale for your design decisions.
