Job summary

Cape Cod Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access professional to financially clear scheduled patients within 48 hours of service and resolve eligibility issues. You will work with physician offices, insurance companies, and the revenue cycle to protect and recover revenues.

The role supports process improvement initiatives, attends management meetings, and assists in special projects to improve efficiency and workflow. Strong communication and Epic/Siemens experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree strongly preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a large hospital Revenue Cycle, Patient Access or Scheduling.
• Experience with Epic and/or Siemens information systems preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent PC skills, especially Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Clear patient accounts within 48 hours of service and resolve eligibility issues.
• Collaborate with Physicians Offices, Insurance Companies, and Revenue Cycle teams.
• Support process improvement initiatives to improve cash flow.
• Attend management meetings and participate in special projects.
• Provide input for employee evaluations.
• Ensure accurate registration and authorization information in EMR.
