Job summary

Little Lonestar Academy, affiliated with The Fedcap Group, is seeking a Jr. Instructor (Child Care Provider) to deliver attentive care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in a on-site Texas setting near Lakeway.

You will foster a stimulating, age-appropriate learning environment through play, exploration, and sensorimotor activities. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or must obtain.

Responsibilities

• Establish trusting and supportive relationships with infants and families, maintaining open communication.
• Follow daily routines and schedules to ensure consistency and predictability for children.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Promote a unified, collaborative atmosphere in all communications and actions.
• Provide quality childhood education for clients of Easterseals Lonestar in accordance with skills and training.
• Maintain awareness of trends and best practices in child development.
