Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team is seeking an early-career Associate Instructional Systems Designer / Learning & Development Specialist to develop and maintain training for a mission-focused customer. The role emphasizes instructional design, collaboration with SMEs, and delivery across instructor-led and online formats.

A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required, and the position is based on-site in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline as listed.
• 6 months to 2 years of relevant professional or teaching experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and revise training curricula, lesson plans and materials.
• Support instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and web-based training.
• Collaborate with senior designers and SMEs to translate content into learning experiences.
• Create job aids, guides, exercises, assessments, and evaluation tools.
• Maintain course materials for accuracy and alignment with requirements.
• Support needs analysis and data collection for training.
• Participate in quality reviews of training content.
• Assist with delivery logistics and learner support as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of learning programs.
