Job summary

ECS Federal is seeking a TS-cleared Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a mission critical FBI program in Washington, DC. You will perform security authorization, continuous monitoring, documentation, and remediation activities throughout the RMF lifecycle.

The role requires US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance and at least 1 year of experience. A Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/Data Science/Info Technology or relevant certs are acceptable, and you will

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ISSO support for FBI systems across the RMF lifecycle.
• Maintain SAA documentation and calendars; track control evidence, POA&Ms, vulnerabilities, annual requirements, and data calls.
• Coordinate with system owners and senior security personnel; escalate issues affecting authorization, compliance, or mission support.

• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
• 1 Year of experience
• Intermediate proficiency aligned to Security Architect (722) of DOD 8140 requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering)
  • OROne of the following Certifications (GMON, Security X/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, SSCP)
• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
• Must meet applicable FBI TS/SCI, background, training, facility-access, and polygraph requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to execute SAA/RMF support and maintain accurate security documentation.
